>Thursday we are sponsoring a Play at the Detroit Reporatory Theater entitled "Looking For The Pony" by Andrea Lepico as a fundraiser for the Lighthouse and for newly established Charity Helen's Heart Foundation which is set up to assist Cancer patients with utilities and food as they go through treatment.

Events
The Lighthouse Community Center sponsors ongoing yearly events that provide families a variety of workshops, financial education, parenting and life skills, conflict resolution, acting in plays, roleplaying and literacy enhancement. The lighthouse has a yearly Business forum to promote job creation, sales and networking. The plays that are sponsored by The Lighthouse all deal with addressing issues of abuse and negect and overcomig such trauma or economic stimulation as presented in the premeire stage-play "Detroit Passsion" which was held at Paul Robeson in February of this year. The single "Detroit Passion" is currently being promoted throughout the city to show a positive outlook on the city.
